Does anybody know if these results are available on-line anywhere ?
Prior to putting my trainers back on at the beginning of this year that was my very last race (and it was meant to the very last time I ever did any running because being a couch potato seemed so much more appealing). I am now curious about the time, which I know was really slow.
After that race I decided that running was just not for me and I threw in the towel. However, my son cajoled me into joining a club for the first time ever in January. As a result I have been back on the road again, this time pounding the streets 3 or 4 times each week, not trying to do it alone, which was always a haphazard affair. I won't be running the GNR this year but next week I will be having a go at the Bristol 1/2M.

I am expecting another notable race result today - I am entering the Chesterfield Spire 10 and as there will only be a few hundred runners there is a pretty good chance I will come in last. I managed to come last in the Goole 1/3M a couple of months back but at least I am making my mark!
If you go to www.onrunning.com
click on Bupa north run, then click on a tab that i think says my results
it'll ask for your name and date of birth etc, don't know if it will help but give it a go
hope this helps
boinging this back up in case anyone else can help
Bumping this thread to see if anyone had any ideas, I ran the GNR in 1998 and cannot find anything - results or photos.
Would be nice to have some proof apart from the medal that's in a drawer somewhere.
you might be in luck.
I think I ran it that year - An all round horrendous experience (journey there/hotel/journey home with a baby) so I'll check this week if I have the official results in a draw. Run was OK but remains my worst ever HM time (congestion, poor allocation of staring pens, road closure in the first couple of miles)
Thanks Dustin!
Any luck finding the results? This GNR in 98 was my first Half, didn't really take to running after that until a few years ago and I can't get enough now. Would be interesting to see the time from then and compare it to what I am doing now.
hi all was watching the GNR this morning and was wondering what my time was - was unable to locate it online but upon scouring the shed i found it:
its a newspaper with the full results/
if anyone wants to know their results.. if they forward their name and approx. finish time im happy to take a look.
obvs this was for the 1998 race
hi there McQ. not sure if you still have the results, but would love to know if my time is in there. Ben Byfield. I think it would have been around 1h30 but its a loooong time ago!! can't remember if it was 97 or 98 tho!
Name - deepa bala - can anyone help?
