The opportunity to experience an open water adventure in a weekend by swimming across some of Europe's most beautiful lakes and walking on the fells in-between.
they sell personal 'torpedoes' at gadget shop - you know the ones, a propeller in a tube with handles on the side... drag you along nicely... unfortunately at florida i suspect the rescue divers on the bottom would grass you up
I know the 2 guys who run Swim Trek and they are very decent chaps - channel swimers both. These trips have been getting rave reviews and I definitely plan on going on one next year - whether it's one of their Greek Island ones or something in the UK (probably the latter)
But yes, I hear they are highly recommended, and run by real open water swimmers, for swimmers.
Well is it to be this or Hull 24 hour track? I have decided to do an Ironman next year, what with the London training and the fact that I cycled 75 miles the other Sunday with no ill effects I think I should get on with it before I am too old.
