I am thinking the same Z... just need to get on the hills on it. Last year I was fine riding it as I rode it so much in training, but never on any hills
GB i was wavering towards my road bike but after seeing that footage on youtube and the Ironman show footage i think Stealth is coming out to play i may just move the saddle back a tinse and fit a shorter stem so i am not all over the front on the descents that said i had no problems whatsoever st Wales
I was just passing through - had an appointment at Physio4Life
Did pop into Velosport, but unfortunately was left with the 'Saturday' but who knew less about the bikes I wanted than I did!! So credit card was safe ....... for now anyway!
Worth checking out Sigma in Kingston if your round this way again. Got my new bike from them a couple of weeks back.
Good range, know what they're on about etc.
Had a big chunk off the price already - end of season etc - but then when they reduced it again the week after I bought it, I called up and they gave me back the difference no probs. Thought that was a nice touch.
I've done another count of the sign ups. If it's like last time it'll be completely wrong, but who cares about that! It's actually lower than the number that we thought it was after the first incorrect posting that was then added up with other numbers that were found

Think I will be going for a road bike - will be much easier on the climbs and the decent - some of those corners look a little 'technical'
Its also an excuse to buy a new road bike...... and I just happen to be passing Velosport in Putney tomorrow

I think I'll use a fixed wheel as it'll force me to spin my legs out for the run
De ffo get em spinning like catherine wheels on the descents
My bike got me round Nice and Lanza ..that or something similar will do the job again
Its a compact with a few numbers
I've got my ironman france weapon sitting the other room all 6.3 kg of it...... 12-25 will do the job fine as well... Just gotta bring the legs!
My cat is heavier than your bike
*goes off to weigh the cat*
*fnaar fnaarrrr*
Prepares to be shot down but isn't the minimum bike weight 6.8kg? Though I've never seen scales at check in
Nope that only applies for UCI sanctioned racing, tri doesn't have the same bike rules
Aaarrrgggghhh, I'm hit
Did you drop this ?? 'S'
Everyone's a comedian eh?
Might as well bring in the 1000 posts mark
1000 eh ... everyone of them informative and amusing

Am I going mad or has the 'quote' thing gone?
Anyway - Raf, do you live near Putney or just passing through?
I think he'd be 'just passing through' BH!

Crikey, that sounds like good customer relations BH!
I think I may have sorted out my cycle 'training' for Nice. Former colleague is organising a 'Tower to Tower' ride. Blackpool to Eifel in 6 days!
Cheers for that BH - although I had kind of decided on a Boardman Air Road as it seems to offer the best of both worlds - TT and Road in one!
I've just had a leave request approved at work for June 26th - July 1st next year....
When you hear the explosion tonight, you know I've told Suzie
Won't she be looking forward to a 'break' in Nice then?!!
I casually mentioned to my other half the idea of doing the Tower to Tower and got a 'Oo, you'll enjoy that!'
