ah yes, still think it was a figment of my fuddled brain on my first tri event 3 miles into the run and spiderman jumping up onto a BT box outside a shop and saying;
'Y'arrrggghhh, Go Pirate' and high fiving me.

son is going on a hockey tour the first week of his easter holidays and has asked me to pick him up at uni when he gets back .......
so he needs picking up 11th april in Liverpool......which happens to be near enough to macclesfield.....
so reserve me a place in the campsite.......I will be there with youngest 2 sons
Just stuck this in the diary.. and nothing clashes with it (yet) Although it is only 2 weeks before Chirk so I might not be up for the HIM

As we seem to have a far list of people and most want to do the half IM, the plan was to run an Oly on the Saturday, not sure that there is the interest to put this on and maybe we should just do what we have in previous years and run the half IM on both days and if people want to drop down distances then that's fine.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
If there is the option of the HIM on the Saturday, that's what I'll be opting for SA. Gives me a chance for beers on the Saturday night

I would likely do an Olympic distance but am more than happy to just drop the distances myself within the HIM. Also allows any distance to be extended if one feels particularly perky

Hi - I'm definitely in but likewise not sure what day at the moment. Probably the half on Sunday. The pub on Friday/Saturday is non-negotiable though.
I'd put a smiley in there but they are still Christmas ones and I can't bring myself to do it.

Hi, I did use to be on this forum a few years ago as either Orange5 or Pink Orange5 can't remember which. Had to reinvent myself as I couldn't log onto my old profile. I do remember you doing this in the past although I never came to the event. I did meet a few of you at the salty pool tri in Cheshire a couple of times.
I do fancy having a go at the Olympic. The bike is no problem and I'd probably be ok on the run. The swim is the big issue for me. So I quite fancy a no pressure Oly. I am hoping to do the Fun2Tri Oly in August.
I live in Bolton so would probably just drive down on the Saturday morning. If it's OK for random strangers to gate crash that is

Could someone please add me to the list to do the half IM on the Saturday, the pub meal on the Sat night, and marshalling on the Sun.

Razor yes that's right I drag myself round it every year
I do prefer MTB events but they are quite rare and a pretty good standard so even at my fittest I'm near the back.
