Just popping in while I remember to say good luck to everyone - won't be able to follow you unfortunately as I'm away at the weekend but will be really looking forward to the race reports
Fingers crossed these predicted thunderstorms take themselves off elsewhere!
Wanted to wish everyone good luck for the weekend and if you see me looking stressed around Bolton or during that sunday bike and run please do give an 'argggh'.
I will be racing in pirate kit but may change top on the run if really hot. Number is 685 won't add to the list as not sure what wrecks it.
I'm in pirate kit - because the only way I stand a chance of making it is to get the cheers for the 'yellow'

Tomorrow I board a plane for Ibiza from where I won't return until Sunday, by which time I will barely be able to remember my name or the meaning of the expression 'liver function', in fact come Monday morning I may well be in a worse state than many of you heros who'll have crossed the line in Bolton but enough from me.
I hope everyone taking part smashes the course, themselves, the bar or ideally all three, in that order.

Well i have registered, got the wristband on
went up to pennington flash for a swim did the 1.9k loop and knee was quite sore so I predict I will be the last pirate out of the water
