Hi Rick
Bike course is probably best described as undulating with one 'major' climb, Oxton bank at about 20 miles. However, even for a crap climber like me, it's not that bad. Parts of the course are fairly exposed which can be a challenge if it's windy.
Feed stations/toilets are at 21 and 38 miles
Full race info can be found here
cheers trogs thats a great help i can now plan nutrition and drink around this information.
cheers
cheers guys much appreiciated i feel a lot better now
I rode up Oxton Bank on my Halfords Carrerra road bike a few years back at the Outlaw. It was a cracking bike I am doing Outlaw Half this year too. See you there Rick
The climb you talk of is only a few hundred metres long. It's a blip on an otherwise flat to undulating course with, on the main part, pretty smooth roads.
This thread has been a bit quiet ....

My day's going to end with a long walk
My day will hopefully end with a long walk.
Hurt my toe doing a sprint tri last weekend, having to wear open toe sandals at present and only swimming.
Hi all, just getting into tri after many years of running. Got a place in outlaw 17. What are pirates ?
Thanks
I'm in Outlaw half, first time this year.
Need to settle a score with OxBank as got cramp half way up in Outlaw last year and fell into the verge before hopping up the reminder of the hill !
