Yep Crooky planning to do a few more rides on course this year as does help massively so would be great to sync up but my availability is limited normally to 1st and 3rd weekends lets try and sort a date. Chat offline about it
flippin 'eck Pudge..... you're not mucking about next year are you!
Nope - I asked for a pass outs for each event, thinking that at least some of them are going to get declined, but the good lady wife said yes to every one, so I'd be a fool not to take her up on it!
Have binned the idea of Lisbon ETU standard in favour of Barcelona 70.3 to warm up for IMUK. Then Walchsee for ETU 70.3 which I'd just love to be my launch pad for Kona! Hey a pirate can dream?
2Up Duathlon, Manchester Marathon, Slateman Savage, Leeds ITU Olympic, Chomondley Castle Half, Brutal Half, Equinox 24 Hour, Triathlon X Half and Tissington Half Marathon
Just signed Cougie and myself up for that 2Up Duathlon. Looks like a fun event.
I've entered the 4 Villages (Helsby) half marathon in Jan. and have looked at Chirk, Slateman, Chester Olympic and possibly Liverpool Olympic distance events as they are all local and fit the budget.
Will definitely enter Boundary Breeze as I really enjoyed that last year
All the 12 IM finishes allow you to do is enter the legacy ballot. If your application is unsuccessful in any given year you have to have completed an IM in both the previous 2 years as well as have an IM entry in for the forthcoming year should you wish to enter the ballot for the following year
Fingers tightly crossed it works out for ISB, however I fear it could turn into the London Marathon 5-rejections, where demand eventually outstripped supply, unless they increase the number of legacy slots each year

Still got an eye on Ironman Mallorca hoping it will give me a little more time before selling out to get my achilles sorted.
UW you going to come up to bolton for a ride of the course

Actually no, just the bike leg for the "Norfolkinchance" relay team (the winning pirate relay team)

More a financial decision really. With the two of us racing most stuff gets quite expensive
We'll be there with Pom poms either way
I agree, it's not just the events but the accommodation and traveling, it all mounts up.
I've got a place with PSUK for 113, it means there's no panic to register
The Brutal at the end of Aug will be our big race and 226 with the bit of credit from marshalling this year
IM Vichy for me (for the unfinished business) - there....I've said it!!
IM Mallorca (for the craic and the pirate japes) providing I'm still in one piece.............
Other events beforehand as warm ups to be considered
London Marathon
IM Switzerland
IM Mallorca
(Possibly NYC Marathon)
Kona the year after Bobby
IM Mallorca's the only event on my calender next year so far.
The plan so far!
Windsor duathlon
Deva 1/2
Grafman full
Monster racing 1/2

If you are going to do Chirk watch out for the entries opening, it sold out in 25 minutes last year
Hopefully, but not necessarily.

Just for Trogs, you were a pointless answer on Pointless tonight
