I bought it in 2000, the cut of the frame has changed a bit in the following year. Says Lite Alloy on the frame. Possibly more suitable for road racing, though I have seen a similar frame as a tri bike.
Before the Bianchi, I had a Tigra, Swiss made, very good and loved it (unfortunately stolen). Before that, I had a very nice Francesco Moser frame (white and blue strips built in frame). Got that stolen too after a race *argh*. Before that I had a Gitane (Laurent Fignon used them) bought in France, then repainted it with blue glitter, looked fab and a week later a car drove in my way (nothing happened to me) and the frame was broken.
It feels like a friend dies, when you get your bike stolen! A few years ago I used to cycle a lot. Hardly did any biking this year, hope to do a bit more in the summer. When I have done enough running I start cycling again
