Team 8... If anyone out there is on team 8 and is wondering why they haven't been mailed, please post here and we'll see what we can do.- The list is pretty long now, and I don't think we have information for everyone yet.
Ah, you need to do what I do and obsessively make lists for days beforehand. I've now got a huge document listing exactly what and when to eat, drink, wear, pack, leave the house, train to catch etc etc. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is knocking on my door as we speak....
Anyone registered yet? Got sorted last night and it was only then that the scale of the event sunk in with me. Had a terrible night's sleep with nerves/excitement - anyone would think I'm an 8 year old on December 23rd!
I'll be in pen 3 on the blue start - hopefully won't be too slow and congested but should also ensure I don't go charging off too quick (looking for 3:15 or thereabouts).
If anyone's likely to be in this area I'll be at the front in a bright orange survival bag.
Hi all, Yep, registered yesterday, ended up buying lots of half price summer running gear from the stands. Chips already on the shoe, number stuck to the kit bag, nothing much to do now except rest, eat carbs and wait. Last run of any quality already run this morning, 4 at marathon pace. Good luck all and enjoy the taper.
Had a great time at the expo yesterday -was chatting away to the Penguin for quite a while before I realised who he was - what a lovely, warm and unassuming chap. And then he "invited" us down to his talk and made a fuss of us!
Can't tell you how much I am looking forward to mile 17 - looks like it will be one heck of a party!! Hope all the supporters have a great time and don't get too cold and wet...
OK who's got the Team felt tip pen for Page 46 then?
Did my final run today - to the Port Regent DLR after getting agrophobia taking the (wrong) East exit from Expo and "sprinting" across the barren waste ground that is Docklands. Wow!
And I didn't think much of the pasta today either...
Dynamokev - I am also on the blue start and I am going for 3.15 as well. Missed it by 1 minute in 2002 and 3 minutes in 2003. Since we won't have any pacers this year(for reasons best known to RW), we should perhaps stick together. Should be good going through Mudchute together with all those peeps cheering us on!
I'm number 26288 and I will be wearing a Shaftesbury Harriers vest (black and white stripes) - see you at the start.
I'm off to Londinium tomorrow, with a rucsac worthy of an Annapurna expedition. Plenty of space for newly purchased goodies though.
TIRM I missed 3:15 by 95 seconds last year, but by 32 minutes 2 years previously. (Got it at Cardiff).
Pacers are a blessing in disguise. Last year there were 2. The last one eased past me at mile 24 and I just couldn't keep him. I'm sure that he missed the target by 30 seconds as well! Good luck this year, and a following wind on the Embankment.
IRM - sounds like a plan. I'll be getting there stupid early (hopefully)and intend to be at the very front of the pen. Will be running in a blue and yellow Stroke Association vest with "Kevin" printed on the front. If I can get hold of an indelible marker at lunchtime I may well have "Dynamo Kev" on the back as well.
lp can i change my mind about just a good cheer and add a few jelly babies please, which side of the road will you be on, and am i right in saying that where you are is near to the expo site. See you sunday and thank everyone on the team for me.

Good luck to all team 8 runners,-
I think we're still missing bits of info from some of you.- We really need race-numbers and expected times.
FakeSuede, Watto, Chris Meenan - I seem to be missing at least one of these bits of info from each of you.-
See you sunday.
I think Watto is me, different name on email compared to here.
Number is 5804, expected time is 3.30-3.45 so about 12ish past you.
many thanks
Andy

AJH and Sam.- Do you have any more runners details to add to the list?
