Ohh is it novice pirate sinking in view of pro pirates day on Thursday? Ive never swam OW either. Fraggle and I can synchronise sink!

I will come along too then, if for nothing else than advice as to how the hell I get into my wetsuit.

I just had a coached session with Richard Stannard. I can hardly lift my arms*. Seems I was getting verrrry lazy!

*Don't let that put anyone off a session with him though - he said he kept me swimming an awful lot more than he usually would so that I wouldn't get cold without a wettie. I'd definitely recommend a coaching session with him.

Yes yes he definitely does - anybody! He'll do really basic stuff for those new to OW/tri or more advanced stroke stuff for those who are OK in OW.

I spoke to a lady in the changing room and it was only her second OW swim today - her first was a session with him. And he said to me recently that he coached someone one-on-one who needed to go right back to basics in terms of breathing etc. So he takes all levels.
