I did 7m yesterday. Half trail and half road with a couple of bloody big hills. I've only been running since March and I'm not brave (or fast) enough to share times yet!
Loved my Subday morning run. 1st time in god knows how long I've gone long without my iPod. Was a road run. The weather was crisp and the birds were singing. Did a new route with far to many hills the week before HM. Calfs are a little sore this morning. Anyway did 9.6 miles in a not to shabby 1hr 8 min 12sec.
A very wet 10 mile run yesterday morning! When I had finished my feet looked like I had been sat with them in water for ages! I didnt want to do it as I had a cold but had to stick to the HM plan. It took me 1 hour 38 minutes so a bit slower. Not exactly on track to get a HM time of under two hours but first one so have nothing to beat!
Ran the inaugural Farnham Pilgrim Marathon yesterday. This is a hilly trail course running between Farnham and Guildford. Very impressed with this race and would be impossible to fault it in anyway.
Ran it in 3:55, which as I was aiming for a sub 4 am pleased with. This gave me a position of 35th out of 253.
Only three miles for me today! I usually do a circuit training class on a Monday but decided to start breaking in my new running shoes. 7 mile tempo planned for tomorrow.
Disappointed to go over 1hr but was first time at the 10k. Have signed up for another 10k in November so expect that PB to get smashed! Got a 5k PB at Parkrun on Saturday (27:45) so legs were a bit heavy on the Sunday. (My excuse and i'm sticking to it)
Hit the pavements for 5 miles last night. Not pushing myself as still recovering form Sunday's race, so took about 45 mins. Also hit the swimming pool for an hour's front crawl.
Feels like my legs are coming back to life, which is a good thing as have another marathon to run Sunday!
last run was a disaster. Took the poorly knee out for a run again yesterday as it hadn't been poorly for a couple of days, and got a mile out with no pain so though I would be ok. Typically it decided to hurt when I was two miles from home with no shortcut option. Was in a hurry to get home too or i'd have been late to work, so carried on jog/walking home and was in a lot of pain by the time I got home. Made it to physio yesterday afternoon and he uttered the dreaded phrase 'ITBS'. Now on cross training only for time being and have very bruised ITBS where he pummeled it to release it.
Good luck with everyone's running over the next few weeks, I shall be living my running life vicariously through you all!
Hope your knee is ok soon Hanna. It sounds painful.
Last nights run didnt go as planned. I went off route by mistake and took my 10k route instead of 7 miles. It would have been done in 55 minutes but I saw my mum and her friends about 1 mile from home so had to stop, for 10 minutes! Total time 1hr 5 minutes. Rest day today.
D F: my plans were for a PB, but am worried maybe I gave to much at Farnham. I feel like my legs are slowly coming back to life, but whether or not I am fully race fit for Sunday, will have to wait and see. Will have fun what ever happens
Hi folks, my first run today for 47 days! Picked up a foot injury a while back and have been abit scared to run on it for fear of making it worse, feels great after my run today though. Could have bloody ran sooner, still better safe than sorry. Did 4 miles in 39 minutes, now my plan begins for a sub 50 10k, god I feel great, my legs feel great and I'm sooo glad to be running again.
my last training yesterday afternoon after 05 pm only 30 mins speedy park and street too. on sunday i'm going to run my 10k official race with my runners friends.
5 miles on tready at gym in about 45 mins. My gym has just had a refit, and the new treadmills really are a joy to run on. New cross trainers, bikes and weight machines as well, so looking good.
6 miles in 59 minutes. Went out in my new running shoes again. They feel comfortable but heavy! I have put them on the kitchen scales and they weigh less than the others. Maybe they are just going to take some getting used to!

Keen to hear how all racers have got on this weekend.
I've enjoyed the Stansted Slog, a 13M off road event in quiet countrylike West Sussex. Wonderful event that deserves more publicity than it gets.
Went round in 1.35.40. Hard work, but great fun. very pleased.

Nice one Solent Runner! I was wondering which Marathon you referred to earlier.Good placing! Clearly those long runs are paying off.
