Wow. Think I timed the run to perfection today. Set off before 7am and got back around 8.30am. Weather was really cold (took over 3 miles just to warm up) but nice and calm. Glad I didn't leave it until an hour or two later !!
blimey that was a tad chilly out fishing this afternoon. Pb though today yay ! total 3 codling and some weird looking fish I have never seen before Simon said its called a "rockling" looked like something pfizers might have created. am nicely warm now though and have that nice cozy sort of feeling that 4 cans of guiness provides
Cinders what a cute pic.
Had quite an alcoholic weekend so far but have this strange uneasy feeling that sometime over the past few days I just might have signed up for some mad stupid race I'm sure it must have been a dream
MF - It is true, you have entered L2B, I have just looked on the thread and you admitted to it. So now we are, in how do I train for it particularly as August is out due to holiday. I have a mara in April, May and June and Sept but will there be time in July or Sept for the double headers that are required? I am confused and wished that I had engaged my brain before entering (I don't really, I am quite excited)
sea front was very quiet and cold this evening so I headed up Hospital Hill - they definitely need said establishment at the top! Came home to find the lights on but nobody in ...alien abduction? or more secret training?!
Jnr just rung (in Ipswich at a squash tournament) starving and he's having to walk to dinner!!
I popped out for a last few hill reps as part of the old taper. So where were you lurking? I had a look in the bushes and up the trees and you were no where to be seen
Should I venture for some speed training on Thursday or should I taper some more?
Cliff, BH is fav at the mo. Abingdon is laps and I don't do laps. Laps are boring.
If MF7 is connected (ie not staking out Cliff somewhere) Paddy has come onto BH looking to see if there are any triple-nutters out there. Didn't say nought as I got the impression that you had passed over the idea of the triple.
7 miles secret training done last night under cover of darkness. Followed by a massive cottage pie. My idea of great comfort food.
Morning PSC. I spent a windy couple of days down In Bristol with our lads. We had all 3 of them together for 5 days which is a very rare event nowadays so we were making the most of it. Managed 8 yesterday afternoon when I got home but have not quite been able to keep up to Mark's schedule, but don't intend trying to do catchup.

Is this a fisherman's story? How many and how big were they?
As for the race, was it a nice little 10k somewhere so that you can use your newly found sprinting skills?
PSC does that stand for what I think it does?!!!!!

Your last post has got me thinking - Mark seems to do a lot of driving around the local roads - Kerb-crawling?
