well done all TRRACIES either running today or marshalling.
I know some from the "dark Side" have also had a good weeking Gavin aka Pit Stop Crew congrats on your new shiney pb. And Dave and Gemme well don eon "surviving" your events as well.
Bill, just read your post on the Coastal Mara thread.... sounds like a tough day in the office and, despite the short oscar speech, a hard run for you. I would agree with Mark's assessment. Good mental preparation for Hastings!
Also lovely to read that ONCE AGAIN Thanet Road Runners produce another peach of a race with the best marhsalls, choice of gels etc etc etc. Well done everyone!
All Tracs - well done, superb, great race. No less than we expect of you.
CMF - Mrs Dashes was well impressed with the pea fritters. My appetite was a little suppressed but I enjoyed what fish and chips I could shove down.
Coming back from Peter's Fish Factory we noticed your marshalls still being as Trac marshalls are. One girl at the bottom of the hill was outstanding, I hope you are all extra proud of her.
Think the marshal at the bottom of the hill was Anna G - MF7 said she was very enthusiastic!!! Will pass on thanks tonight.
MD - glad she like the pea fritters - come back when you haven't raced and enjoy fish and chips and pea fritters but go to the Peter Fish Factory in Ramsgate and then pop to the Belgian Bar next door for cherry beer to wash them down.
I can't believe it, I thought that she saved her cheering just for me, now I find out the new love of my life had cheered for everyone. Tell her we are finished (she probably hadn't realised that we had even started)
Cinders, she has broken her collar bone and has a few bruises.... I think she is more worried about her bike which was also broken!! Just shows how gutsy she is! She will be off games for about 6 weeks and Crashie is looking after her. It was a fairly horrid day for her - the bus just cut in front of her and knocked her sideways! Yikes.. There but for the grace of God and all that.
PSC Most buses now have a number of CCTV cameras to stop members of the public claiming for fictitious accidents, equally the footage could be used to prove if the bus driver was at fault, just a thought.
Swiss Ambulances are marvellous though - and you can eat off the floor in their A&E waiting rooms. We had to get one for Jono and Anna when we went to Davos for the Alpine marathon and decided to have a go at a summer tobogan run - very messy

MF7 happily snored the night away and seems none the worse for yesterday - he's even running tonight

PSC
Is there any truth in the rumour you are doing this one next year?
http://www.artemisarchtoarc.com/challenge.asp
PMSL......... No, not that one. But I will be doing this one next year (here) as I have already paid!
So maybe the A to A will be in 2010...
Blimey, you need a mortgage then for "dark side" events!!!!
Not sure about testing out eating off the A&E floors but Switzerland is lovely.
