right... about to leave the office on route to a brief stint of supporting on route home to deepest darkest Kent! well done guys so far - sterling effort.
I'm at home now and thinking that that was a pretty nice way to spend seven hours - and trying to decide if your oh so (apparently) easy pace is motivating or depressing for a limping shuffler like me!
Either way you're all Jolly Nice Chaps and I'll see you in the morning. How smelly will you be by then, do you think? [blink]
I hope you big boys will be there to look after little RachE through the travails of the night! BTW she already holds a World Record - an unbeaten record in races in Denmark at every distance competed: ½ mara, 10k, 5k and the egg and spoon
and in case you missed out. We had some electro, morris, spandex-wearing dancers early in the day. It wouldn't be World record attempt without them would it?
Looking good guys. A very worthwhile trip for me to Lilywhites - got a dozen Hx Callaway balls for 30% off.
Amused to hear some tourists commenting that Padams was only jogging. A quick check through the window revealed 18.3 km/h. Mind you he did look a bit comfortable. Come on boys, crank it up a bit...
quick - before CRAB gets there, boot off Kanye and Prodigy and put on the Commodores:
#Gonna be some sweet sounds Coming down on the nightshift I bet you're singing proud Oh I bet you'll pull a crowd Gonna be a long night It's gonna be all right On the nightshift Oh you found another home I know you're not alone On the nightshift#
Kempez - get your own gags rather than recycle my self-deprecating ones when I'm out of earshot.
And I see my David Blaine gag is being credited to NtS in the Metro.
If you need anymore material lads let me know ;o)
Fair effort sons from Group2 just a shame padams isn't prepared to enter the hurtbox like the rest of us for the cause. Bit of effort and he'd be half decent.
We haven't lost power for a few hours I think we're getting the hang of this!
Gonna head back to WR Towers in a minute for the Marvin Gaye. Bring on the pi$$heads.
Will be monitoring throughout the weekend. Post as often as you can especially if something unusual happens i.e. lightening strikes, late sick notes, 17kmph hand over crashes etc etc
As a general comment some could go faster. My fag packet had the first two groups going about ten seconds on average faster than faster than the third. Group three seem to be doing OK versus my budget.
Anyway easy for me to sit here sipping a glass of white, when you are all doing the hard work.

Padams after 'jogging' at 18kph!
We've just gone through the 18kph barrier - Padams up to 18.3 - wonder how fast these treadies can actually go....?
Great shift from Ode just before that too - cranked it up to well under 6min pace at the end.

Well done guys.
PhilPub - I'm impressed, not sure I'd be able to crank up to 6 minute miles yet after Paris.
NtS has done such a great job at organising it all. Well done.
Time to go and make a donation!
Hopefully I will get to see some of you on Sunday afternoon.
#it's all gone quiet over there...#

May try and have a look tomorrow.
A couple of the treadmills at the gym I used to go to could go up to 28kmph. Tried 18kmph once and it half killed me for the 40 secs I was on it!
Standing in Lillywhites watching the team in motion. On track to smash the record by some considerable margin. Wayhay!
