I am in North Wales for the National Fell Relays the 19th, so won't be doing that one either... and I can't make the first one, which I think is next week? I am doing the Black Mountains fell race...
Hahaha, just looking at the dates... 12th I am in Chicago for the marathon, 19th fell relays, 26th I am doing the OMM, 9/11 I am doing the High Peak Relay... not looking very promising, it all clashes with my fell stuff
Well, I have never done cyclocross before, so I will just see it as an introductory experience. Not expecting to win it anyway and fell running comes first
BRT........................always cautious mate as have run with a mate only twice and he is well too quick for me! But if ya well slow i.e my fastest 10k is 55 mins and 13 miles is at 2hrs 10 then cant see why not. Perhaps bring Dave along too in case he's more your pace and I can stick with my mp3 lol
ROFLMAO... sorry, private bit of fun regarding a previous post that included a spelling mistake of a 'technical term' that has something to do with cyclocross
I have collected my cross bike this morning, 't is lovely! Took it out for a little trial ride today and had some fun! I have not put the knobbly tyres on yet, so when I tried cycling up a steep, wet field, the rear tryre started slipping! So I pedalled and pedalled and the bike was stationary in the field
Could be the cheap alternative to the rollers for winter training
No bunny hopping for me, not necessary... it is actually better to just cart the bike over the obstacles...
Weather was pretty atrocious here... I went for a fell run and it was wet and blowy out there. Mind you, my new fell racing shoes performed admirably and it was a good opportunity to give my expensive waterproof jacket I had to buy for the OMM an outing! Kept me nice and warm
