After much deliberation with my inner anally retentive demons I cannot retire (GIVE UP) from my race nemesis the IRONMAN, so after a couple of emails to NAS/Ford I have been given a slot at this Novembers Ironman Arizona. As per my race report over on the Nice race report thread, my goal is sub 12.So here we go again

Good luck Pebbles...you'll do it

Excellent
(I'm sure he said something in his race report about retiring... but then I'm also sure he said something about not liking races in the heat....)
(I thought that too Hollywood... )
Go Pebble!!!!
Nice on Pebble matey....do try and take a little less time on the run than you do on the bike...
Best of luck...
GGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PIRATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
orsum......
Pob lwc cariad!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
I just knew it - you can't bear to see a fellow prop going sub-12 and you not eh??
Pebbs - seriously - good luck mate - I'll be rooting for you. then frigging retire will you!!!!
11:54:34 is your official target btw
arizona is orsum. when's the race? if it's around october time, you can go up to the the desert north of phoenix after dark and see thousands of horny triantulias prowling around looking for a mate. oh and don't touch those tiny, flimsy little scorpions on the walls - their neurotoxin causes instant death.
I did the race when it was in April, was well hot. make sure you've got bullet proof tyres too, the course out through the desert is well puncturey
draclia uses them to fight skellingtons.
<wonders what she has got herself into> triantulias? I did remember about the bullet proof tyres.
It will be hot in November, but it's a dry heat, so practise drinking extra water. The point of moving it to November was so that it wouldn't be windy. KK can tell you about the wind.
<does little dance of joy>
good luck pebble.
and a sheep.
Well pebble has got to have post race entertainment.
well - yes actually...
2 sheep
especially mother and daughter
