i have a shoe box full of race numbers and a huge tangle of medals n ribbons which i keep meaning to untangle but never get round to it
I love my medals, even the rubbish ones. I'd even go so far as to say that my choice of races is heavily influenced by whether it's a medal or t shirt/mug etc at the finish.
Mine hang round the neck of my skeleton in the playroom.

Trying to design something to hang them all from.
Write the race time and date on the back of them usually, and have all my numbers in a scrapbook.
Mine are kept in a CD box at the minute but are kept as kids will want to know what races you have done. I am sure they will enjoy sorting through them all and asking about them rather than getting a monologue.
When I do a marathon and I want to start with one of the big marathons, I intend on a framed picture with my time!
Never thought of keeping all of my numbers though. Did people start doing that because they won't shred?
Surprised my GSR number has my name on it though - is that new?
