In 2 days time we will be on public display clad in a variety of, but little more than, our vests and PE shorts. Do we want a 'raised-arm-finish-photo' that provides conclusive evidence that the missing link is a member of Support Group 6? Do we want our race time impeded by mats of snot, jelly baby sick and lucozade caught in our leg hair? NO WE DO NOT.
So up to the bathroom with you all; get a new blade in the razor and BANISH that body hair NOW.
But try to leave the skin on that tender area across your achilies. Unlike me.
And don't bend over to shave your legs with a grade 1 migraine. Unlike me.

I don't think my little green legs will be hopping along at any great pace at all. I had hoped for sub 4:30, now I simply plan to finish before the street lights come on.

I don't plan to be there too long or spend ages wandering aimlessly. Limpette and I lack that [generally female] hormone that dictates shopping is enjoyable.
In fact, in the whole hunter / gatherer scenario of our human development I am definitely the cave-person that stayed home and tended the fire! Or tamed wild guinea-pigs or summat.

That Tiptoes is a wag. How he can talk about legs after some of the outfits that he has worn on our training runs I don't know. Okay, so we are on different starts but your anticipated time sounds a bit like mine so hope to see/meet speak somewhere en route.
Warning - As Tiptoes knows I do a very nice line in Tourettes moments.

Apart from that the London Pride stand is giving away free beer, asics have pens/lip seal, Addidas think we all smell so are giving away under arm spray.
The Guide dog stand is fun to watch the puppys playing (
