*gasp* Its BEAUTIFUL Cally!!!!! When do you get it??? Bet you can't wait!!!??? You will be far to preettyyyy to be seen with the likes of me and my mountain bike at NW I'm gonna lower the tone with my MB with all these lovely new bike about!!!
WW I'm sure we can get a guitar from somewhere.... Cake???? DO you have one??? Failing that I'll bring the Daughters harmonica after a beer or two someone will get a tune out of it
Sadly the only time I've seen them though was on the One Wild Night Tour in ?2001 I think. It was in the good old days whilst I was still at med school...
Who has now said that despite protestations he wouldn't mind camping - still I think this time it will be hotel as it is cheaper than buying a tent and all the bits this close to Switzerland!

I went to see Bon Jovi in 1989! How old am I! (I was married with two kids by then too)
seen them 14 times 1st time when i was 16 in 1993 and done every tour since (some twice) apart from the one where I was pregnant and had preterm labour! I did argue with the consultant that My friend I was going with is a paramedic but he said no Silly man!! So a bon jovi sing along it is them this weekend just gets better and better! Shame I'll half kill myslef on the tri!!
Yes I might be able to borrow some 2 man tents from hubbys DoE groups. Failing that we have a 13 man family tent and another 3 2/3man tents too that I don't mind using if anyones stuck
Just been reading through the Contemplating an IM threads - hah, I think I'm getting a bit ahead of myself. However it's all very inspirational reading what people have achieved and kinda gives me some reassurance about this event!
Very much looking forwards to baked goods - might have to make some burnt offerings myself
I have 2 very fed up friends at the mo so I've just made them Tiffin with the raisens and healthy things taken out and Malteasers and Marsbars thrown in, The perfect cheer up food! I'm now fighting the need to try a bit
Lol but i have to shift some weight and I dread to think of the calories!! I'm sure I've put on another 4 pounds just making it!!! I'll not fir in my trisuit at the rate and will sink even in the brine!
Farnie -we might all camp (inc boys) if the weather is good... sorry can't bear the thought of young children and canvas in the rain!
My looooovely noooo bike won't be here for a few weeks at least (pesky bike to work scheme) but I'm very excited... it's got carbon forks and seat post, ultegra throughout and fancy wheels lol! however I will be "all the gear, no idea" if I don't start doing some serious training!!
They really don't feel like friends when you are riding over them though. But I know what you mean Holgs. I don't have such a fear and dread when I see a hill now. And what goes up must come down (eventually!) so you do get a nice reward at the end of a hard hill

I am sure you could borrow a tent Rio. And didn't Sprocket mention getting a big daft D of E tent ?
Is anyone on the camping list taking children?
Thanks Farnie but I am sure we will buy one - after all it wont be the last time it gets used.
I have no children to bring thank goodness. (Doubles up on the earplug supply!)
