I'll be there from 7 Cinders but if you could get there to help with reading the results that would be great! MF7 is helping me dish out numbers beforehand.
JFDI I will be bringing Al along as well who will be able to marshal, but does not have his own transport. He used to be a ski rep so is used to standing out in all weathers and has the clothing to cope with it!
Latest for tomorrow is 9am will have rain but clearer and brighter by 12 so it may be that we get a rough first half and a marginally better return trip, possibly with the wind behind us. Ha ha, who are you kidding Bill, it will be 2007 all over again, widdling down hard and blowing a force 8 in your face.
Yeah, thanks Cinders, I saw that bulletin too. Do you think anybody would mind if we postponed the start by 2 hours? It is going to be so blooming annoying to come struggling home like drowned rats and then the sun comes out.
CB - I still have remember Cliff face at the marina bridge and Cinders by the golf course. You should be use to the windy weather that Thanet throws at you
Well thanets weather has arrived its raining and the wind has started to blow. Good luck to all those running and HUGE THANKS to all those marshalling I shall try to say hi as i pedal past
That was fun!!! Big thanks to the organisers and marshalls who did an excellent job in horrible conditions. That bloke playing the piano was a nice touch; can you book him for next year?
Still feeling distinctly grotty, but the decision not to run was the right one - sorry I missed it. I have had 118 before - also given to me by a race organiser who knows me. This year she thought it would be more fun to give me 69.
2007 was way windier than today. 2007 seemed like wading through treacle all the way back. Today was bad in places but with occasional shelter. Rain was worse today though. Nice and "refreshing"
I posted a meeting on here several hours ago thanking JFDI for her hard work on the computer and thanking all the marshals but the RW "grovelometer" must have gone off the scale and banned my message.

Its looking a bit wet and windy!
What sort of time do you need a hand JFDI?
ski clothing - what weather report you looking at CB?!
Thanks Tracey, I'll be prepared for a sandblasted face - my specs could do with a polish!
I'm fully expecting it to stop raining as I drive past Herne Bay on the way home...
Unfortunately, I have also picked up a heavy cold, so I shall see how I'm feeling in the morning.
Indeed, thanks to the unfailingly cheerful marshalls for turning out in such conditions. I'mpleased with a small PB.
I've got the full set now - 10, half, marathon and 20
Well done all who turned up!!!
Sir CdC hope you're feeling OK - probably very sensible not to run but i was so disappointed - your number was 118!

Look forward to seeing you next Sunday!
