Most half-maras I see both genders firing off but laydeez tend to be more discrete/thoughtful. Can relate to lady like botty burping but it just makes it worse when they get so embarassed they have to leave the room. Always good to check wind direction. Worst parts tend to be just before and after water stops for some reason.
That poor person, Sossidge. Physical retention can be a symptom of a head issue where she's holding on to something she needs to let out. [I've just read this back and not sure if I've made sense.] My (male) friend can't poo at someone else's house or in the office.
As a runner, I have no such problems - wouldn't want to feel the need when I was out.
Not good is it, Parklife? I think you've made sense, it could well be the case. She is embarrassed about all bodily emissions, though...maybe it's the way she was brought up. Weird that her sister doesn't have such hang-ups, though!!
Must be murder for watching your weight! Girl needs to take up running, that'll soon sort her out! It is quite a common problem tho' and yes, can be a symptom of either upbringing or one, single, traumatic event. I'm sure we can all relate to the latter in some way....food aversions, spiders, bunny boilers

So when they come to visit you all talk in letters?
FFS!
Shims - my mate told her sister in confidence, who then proceeded to tell the entire world
Wilkie - I can't swallow (so to speak), it makes me feel
I don't think she ever got over it - she only poos about once a week because she's paranoid about people hearing...
I think I would explode if I only got to 'go' once a week...
Now THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is anal retention.
