had a look and asked on some Scottish threads SJPC -early days yet.  I am sure they wont want to be outshone by us lot south of border-lol This is a forum  project , i just thought of it. I thought there is enough experience, will and appetite for challenge to make it happen and i think it will

No julie - though personally would have loved to (studied for 3 years there). Theoretically somone could stop at stranrear and some start with Barry at  Belfast, then Larne then  to L/Derry. and bring it back to stranrear. Worth a thought

If you can liaise with someone on the Gretna- Ayr leg (when we get someone) it may be poss..

I did the Suffolk heritage coast marathon this year, but apart from running next to Sizewell much of it was inland, and i don't rember it, just remember being nackered from running a marathon pb 2 weeks before. Did another marathon the following week, then a 28miler the week after. I must have been mad.

You mean WE have 195 miles each!, i've spoken to few people at my running club and i think we can easily add a few more people to our area.

I see no reason why people have to run on there own for the leg/stage, surely as long as the baton goes the distance, people could run in groups etc

yip FF -peops go on training runs in groups  dont they. Up to area peops I guess. I would try to keep it open and informal as poss-keeps it fun (though some serious running is involved)

It would be great to have some people running together, more carnival feel...the more people the better but not sure how people would feel if they have to run on their own in their area due lack of runners/support while others have fun along the way I would feel very lonely

some ultra peops are used to it runnaholic (some like it). Running is always a mix of emotions. Yes spells of lonliness but great sense of acheivement too.

kiwis - hope to start end of april in Blackpool  working clockwise. Could be later as it depends on how many we can get. Basically it is shifting a baton around Britains coast.
