    Man, this thread's entertaining!  Running the marathon is a piece of cake compared to keeping up with this.  What it needs is a full-time editor - I'm not necessarily volunteering!

    Once I have received my marathon place from Bald Patch I'll be contacting the person then at the top of the half list to transfer my place to him or her.

    Morning peeps -  T Rex any news on your transfere with Bald Patch?  I have yet to hear from the top 3 on the Marathon list, they've got a further 24 hrs (that will be 5 days!) and then they'll move to the bottom of the list. Assuming T Rex gets his place that will make Mark Nicholson top of the pile.

    I haven't really been paying to much attention to the half marathon list, but it might be worth while someone from it emailing the top 4 or 5, just to see they still want to be on there!

    Folks, this will be my last post to this thread, I think. My marathon place (as per messages further up) is going to Tom Bennett. In the event, my wife's half marathon place is going to Jacqui Chislett as John Kelly has secured a place from another runner. So I reckon next up for a half mara ticket is Ben Williams.

    Hi Rug 19

    What is the number for, the full or half marathon?

    The Marathon list will probably look very different in the morning, as the top 3 are likely to drop to the bottom of the list (see previous posts). I would hang on till then, as you'll have a better idea as to who to contact.

    T Rex, in light of B-P post do you want to now be removed from the list?

    My friend has a place for the Full and is injured - so Chairman Rog - it's yours. If you don't check this thread tonight I'll email you tomorrow to let you know.

    You'll prob have to sort it with me cos said friend doesn't have a computer, so I said I'd sort it for him. But it's legit - so reply to this or use the 'Contact Member' thing on here to get me -  don't really want to put my email address in a public place due to spammers and so on.

    I am sorry, but no one has been in contact with me regarding a placement for the Marathon, so I don't think it is fair that people has been placed in front of us on the list!!

     We are still very interested in the marathon, but is unable to check e-mails daily, as we are back packing, but NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME ON MY E-MAIL REGARDING A MARATHON PLACE AS YET, SO I WILL PUT MYSELF BACK ON TOP OF THE LIST. I asked to be contacted via e-mail, not via a threat on the forum, and up to now, have not recieved any contact via e-mail

    Dear Riaan -  If you check eariler posts on this thread you will see that at least 2 fellow runners have tried to contact you via email. I also contacted you via email to explain the situation (finally got a reply late last night)

     For this thread to work and to be fair for all those on it, EVERYONE needs to be able to make regular visits, back packing around Australia with limited internet access is not ideal. How do you propose to arrange the transfer (a form needs signing by both parties) not to mention the payment!

     I'm sorry, but runners coming onto this thread hoping to sell their numbers are going to want to be able to do it quickly without any hassle, do you really think they are going to get that with you?  What's more, you want 2 places, and wont run unless the other person gets in as well.

    I'll leave your names at the top of the list but will make it clear where you are!!!!!!!
