Is this race as hilly as Guy Fawkes 10?

How many mins should I expect to add onto a flat 10 miler?

Too late now, but I'd reckon 2 or 3 mins in my case. It depends though on your pace.  Say about +3 to +5%, to include the fact that it's not all on road.

DOne race today, That climb up to Studley grounds was horrific! Just went on and on

Good, isn't it? It added 35 sec to that mile for me.

Was my 3 to 5% accurate?

Yes, I estimated 1:15. although my last 10 miler was last year at guy fawkes 10 which got my 1:25, but I have got quicker since then.

How did you get on? 1:18:08 for me which got me a pb by a good 8 mins!

My first go at this one.  Haven't done the Guy Fawkes yet, been away for 20 years.  I think there's more climbing and the weather was horrible in November.

You should try the Thirsk 10miler.  Nice and flat and fast.

Any idea if there is some race photos online for this race? I remember passing a couple of people taking photos
