Yup, I realise we'll be 270 metres lower, but Pen y Fan is the nearest spot the Met Office website allows you to choose. And their forecast's changed again - now says mist changing to sunny intervals!
I don't normally check the weather reports until the day before for that very reason, changeable! Was looking ok temp wise earlier in the week but the temp seems to have dropped for the day with 3-4 up on the hills, 7-8 in the valleys. Lets hope any rain clears before the start of the race.
no..its only a small detour for this route i believe.well posted and easy to follow.just gives anothe up and down istead of flat...........for the faster ones it will be easier as there is no opening and closing of all thise gates
Massive thanks to Martin, Sue, Joy and the rest of the team for putting on such an awesome event. This event has become a classic, not least for the after party!
thanks Seren - i was pleased with how I ran...and that I finished!! Hope you did well too.
I agree very much about the thanks to the organisers - I made a conscious effort to thank as many people as I could for all their hard work in making this event as good as it is. This was my first time at it.
Any news on the official results? I stuffed up my watch right on the start line (and made a few people around me laugh with my 'oh bollocks' as I was frantically pressing buttons)...I know I was about 9.05 or so.

Seren, nothing mentioned in the pre-race details so if they are aware then it's not of significant issue.
