I do wonder if someone has forgot to switch off the old site registration! You can't register from www.ironmanlanzarote.com/ anymore by the looks of it. (unless I'm being blind). I used www.clublasanta.com/ironmanlanzarote
Ironmanlazarote web site has been down whilst it was upgraded and everything was going through Club la Santa's websire. IM Lanza website is back up now - so maybe there is a little confusion....or are you just looking for an excuse not to go now?
I faffed for weeks and filled in the form numerous times. I hovered over my payment button for long periods everytime I got that far, only to chicken out and 'back space'. I finally entered and paid up, only to take my name out a week later.
I then had another adreneline rush and added it back in again. My committment to Lanza is now without doubt and focussed .
I might be shite at tri, but I'll challenge anyone to a faff .
Poor Mr Zuvai, having to endure that sort of language, and that early in the morning LOL. My tent, which was plastered in mud, but carefully packed BEFORE I showered and changed, had to be unpacked and searched. I eventually found my wallet, in my back pocket.........
I think Mr. Z had second toughts about my sanity and tried making a break for it, but I had promised to take him to the station, and to the station I would be taking him .
So .. I really wanted to do this. Twice I’ve filled in the entry form and then talked myself out of it because of the cost and the thought of the hassle of transporting all the gear needed on a plane. I’ve watched the counter tick over the 1600 mark and pre-registered with Outlaw. So, for those reasons, I logged on this morning and entered. See you all there!
Ps, Happychap, who you flying with?
Nutter!!! hehehehe. I remember chatting to you about this and you said something about 'going out to support'. I knew you'd fold hee hee hee
Post event blues are a killer! Yep, really hope to be able to come out Will have a better idea finance wise once I know which course i'm doing next year, and when it starts

The hotel I was planning on using has sold out already bummer
Is it worth book accomodation now? Guess it's going to be a busy weekend, probably is worth it ..hmm I was thinking of getting an apartment close to the start.
I've been looking at a couple of options that are really close to the swim start, Teletext hols through up these:
Don Paco Castilla Apartments 3* Dep: Birmingham, 14th May 2013 7nts All Inclusive, £314pp
Hotel Floresta 3* Dep: Birmingham, 14th May 2013 7nts All Inclusive, £365pp
It'll be cheap and cheerful for me though, still looking to see if it's cheaper to get the flight and hotel separately.
Think I'll be booking quite soon, get it out of the way. Would be nice to have a Pirate hotel, probably difficult to get everyone to agree on one though!
We need to speal to Rosey and those that have been before ... the appartments they had were really nice, hotels will be more pricey a Villa between more people will be less money
Being close to the swim start means being in close proximity to the noise for the rest of your stay ... accomm a short walk up the hill would be my preference

Pingu, let us know what you decide as I have no real preference so quite happy to join you and get a Pirate hotel going!!
I'm happy enough to bunk in wherever the main crew are staying. At this stage I'm not really bothered where that is as long as I don't miss the boat.
As things develop could people who want to group together please post where they have booked. I'll just follow along lamely like I always do .
