I should get to Mudchute between half ten and eleven tomorrow. I'll have the stuff I picked up at Expo on Thursday afternoon, plus some plastic glasses and jelly babies. Might have a bottle about my person too
Collected today at 12.30 - large quantities of jelly babies + 2 gels. Will be bringing a few extras of my own tomorrow . Should be there by 10 at latest.
hey all, I really want to try and brave Chandos this year, I suffer from severe social phobia so going to places I don't know and being with lots of people is very challenging but I would like to go if I can. Can someone be so kind as to PM me their phone number so I can contact them to let them know I'm on my way so I know someone is looking out for me? I'm going to be slow tomorrow, anything from about 6.15 hours upwards though
Good luck and all the best to all those running in the London Marathon tomorrow. Have a great run and a great day. Should you need something relaxing to do during your "rest day" (before or after) then please check out the sample of my first novel, "Breaking The Wall" on Amazon Kindle. Its based on my own experiences of the VLM and would love to know what fellow runners think (donations are being made to Mcmillan Cancer Support)
a huge thankyou to you all today, was lovely to catch up with you all and I was really feeling the distance by the time I got to you guys. As always, the support, and beer(he he he) really helped those last miles go by
see you all next year, one side of the fence or tother
Hi Ecky - sorry we missed you too (not sure how we didn't spot Trev!) glad to hear you had a good day, hope everyone else did too. Plenty of jelly babies, bananas and oranges handed out
RR, It was me. I get a bit blinkered. It was just amazing though. I said after that was my last Marathon but now I realise that I just have to do it again.
I somehow missed you all!! So sorry, I hope you had a good time and enjoyed some fondant fancies. I managed to see my mum and a group of friends twice, and my charity stand so plenty of support to make it round in 4.34.03. Was going for 4.30 but am more than happy, it was a brilliant day and fantastic first marathon!
Thanks guys, glad I saw you this year and the Jaffa Cakes were a treat. Sorry I was so late. had a hiccough at 11 and had to have a strategy change but all in all another great day despite PW (Planned)

I need to concentrate more in future. I had a brilliant time but found it very tough. I may have to leave Trev the Teddy at home next time

Well really glad you made it - we were a bit concerned
Thanks Louise, gutted I didn't get to meet you all.
Thanks Stilts, I did cheat a bit though as my friend took him off me for 7 miles.
Eckytump, I totally missed them too, even though I was looking! Next year I want even more balloons!
Hope you all had fun, though! I (sort of) did.
Ecky Glad you were alright, as Louise said we were a bit concerned. Awesome work with the huge teddy.
Hope everyone is alright today. Two Stroke Tart got to the finish she's got very sore feet, but she did it and got her medal
I saw you all but only because I ran past two years in a row and now I know where to look!
Thanks for the support

I was looking hard for you literatin and can't beleive I missed you. I saw a couple of other people in the same vest but they were obviously not you.
Had a fab time at Mudchute even though I was ill and really should have stayed in bed. I will certainly be back next year for more fun and games.
No SuperCaz - it wasn't open at the time....
