Must have been quite a spill Dubai. Glad you've healed up. 31miles over the long weekend. 1201 left. 1201 King John grants Cambridge a charter. Over in Constantinople nobleman John Komnenos The Fat seizes the throne of the Byzantine Empire. Gets decapitated the same day.
Just about back to running, and now up to 98k for the year! In 1920 after much shuffling of feet the First World War was finally done and dusted with the signing of the Treaty of Versailles.
With around a third of the year gone somewhere close to 670 should have been achieved with 1370 to go, approximately. Looks like I need to run just over 8k a day. Can't see it happening, but you never know!
Sorry to hear that things didn't quite work out for JK the Fat!
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
Welcome back alehouse! 8k a day is doable- hopefully!
Thanks JT, just a bit sore now but running slowly.

Another 40.3miles over five runs. 1084.5 left. 1084 the Normans sack Rome to restore papal authority after Pope Gregory VII is besieged by Emperor Henry IV.
Another 59.3miles done over the last week and today. Half way there. 1008.9 left. 1008 King Ethelred The Unready orders the building of a new fleet of warships.
37.5miles done. 971.4miles left. A whole new millennia. 971 St Swithens remains are reinterred in the Old Minster Winchester. It rained for forty days.
172 miles done since my last post three and a half weeks ago, 1255 miles left with 200 left in the year. At the current rate I’m just about on course to make it.
