Osgood Schlatters and running?

Anyone have any experience with Osgood Schlatters or as I call it my 'double knees'  :#

Was diagnosed with this as a kid told the bumps under my kneecaps would disappear after my teens but they never have basically and I'm 27 now  :| Doesn't seem to be much info on it for adults online and as it's not really giving me any pain when I run or anytime really unless I kneel or fall on them I've kind of just fobbed it off

Should I be taking any precautions when running?

Just make sure you do lots of stretching to keep joints supple. Osgood schlatters is very common, I was diagnosed as well, hasn't caused me any issues, I find kneeling painful but that is it.

I'm 50, and my lumps are still there.  I've run 13 marathons, 25 halfs, 52 parkruns and a scatter of 10 and 5ks.  Never had any bother with my knees.
