Treadmill recommendations appreciated

Hi all,

My partner and I are after a treadmill - we both work pretty long hours, and would like a backup for those occasions when we can't get out.

We live on the fourth floor of a block of flats, so I guess that needs to be a consideration for the tenants below. Our budget is anywhere up to £1000, though the lower the better! Not sure too many gizmos are necessarily required, but obviously we'd like it to be a solid, reliable unit.

Any thoughts?

Well I would guess that unless you have concrete floors in your flat then a treadmill would not be advisable re noise/weight etc.   Maybe join a gym if you want to use a treadmill.

I've never run on a treadmill and still manage to run outdoors 6 days a week and have done for 25+ years.   The only weather that I won't run is if it's really icy but I don't miss that many sessions due to ice.
