Lyrics: Sittin' in the mornin' sun
I'll be sittin' when the evenin' comes

I'm running out of sea related lyrics! Any thoughts on a new theme?

What: a run of some description, plus stretches

Why: weight loss plus keep forgetting!

Yesterday's lyrics were Red Sails in the Sunset, much covered since the 1930s.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

    Morning

    Feeling good after yesterday's massage Wabo?  I would love a run with rain right now.  Enjoy the football this evening.

    Fast 5king in that race Ale.  Ideal conditions as well. 

    Enjoy that visit OH (and Els)

    What: short recovery d&d pre-work (just short of 7k)
    Why: hard run planned tomorrow
    Last hard: humidity was awful - kept the effort levels down (pace pretty much normal) but was dripping with sweat nonetheless
    Last rest:30.03.2021

    Lyrics: even I can do those.. Sporty topic sounds good, I could also do flying as a topic..

    Ale - well done with the marshalling, seems like that was one speedy race
    Wabo - hope the fizz ironed out a few creases !
    Hazel - that's a decent MLR in anyone's book ... nice one, what's tomorrow's session?

    What - 5 miles in torrential rain - fields and lanes flooded. At least the trail shoes got a good clean!
    Saw absolutely nobody else.

    Sports massage was actually very good! 
    I was so lucky to get out and about rain. Lovely 5k run done

    Afternoon!

    Still no rain here!

    Possible lyric themes: 
    - sport
    - space (including flying)
    - colours
    - names (my son used to have a student radio show where one week it was girls' name hits and the next boys'.)
    - numbers
    Those should keep us going for a month or two! Please add to the list!

    Cake delicious!
    Run was also nice, very sunny but a little breeze so I carried on for 9 miles. Tried to go a bit faster on the second half. Relatively speaking this was easy as up and over the hill is in the first half!
    Friend has landed!
    Might have another  vaguely sea lyric for tomorrow if I get up in time ( we have an early boat to catch).

    That caterpillar made me laugh

    I pinned on a number for the first time since Oct 2019.  Trail race, Stiles gates and many hills. 8.84 km.  54:53. So happy. How fast can I do a road flat 5km?

    Didn't get passed or pass anyone after 3km, nearly caught someone at the end but got caught by a final evil hill.

    So happy :)

    Sorry I'm still so intermittent, life is a bit crazy still.
