If it's any consolation, I discovered on holiday that my bikini top wasn't quite up to the strain of a dive into the pool and a front crawl sprint to beat my boyfriend to the far end. I couldn't work out why he had such a big grin on his face when I'd so comprehensively beaten him. And then the awful truth dawned...

No more decorative bikinis for me, proper swimming ones only, with racer backs!

Snail/jj; had an embarrassing incident at local swimming pool when I realised that my lycra swimsuit had gone see through. (its something to do with excessive chlorine in the water).

Please can someone clarify something for me.

What is all this about bras that are not supposed to be worn as outer-garments. Surely all bras are suitable outer garments?

Maybe I've been living in Liverpool too long.

I have actually had a bra strap snap.....

Fortunatley it was not being worn as outerwear at the time...... (I was young - I learnt quickly!!!)
