just saying in advance, if I suddenly disappear from the forum, its cause my Boss may want to reveiw the Board Papers with me sometime this afternoon, but I'm here until then! :-)
read back through yesterday's mamouth 400 plus thread. I see we're attracted another Aussie!!
And I'm still giggling over the goldenretreiveradoodle / labradoodle mistake. BTW - the reason labradoodles were first "created" was for sight-impaired people who needed a guide-dog but are allergic to the fur - labradoodles apparently don't irritate any fur allegies.
also need to get moving - very groggy this morning - Thin Spouse nicked most of the duvet so I froze half the night (didn't want to wake him cos he's so busy in court) then went back to sleep after he'd gone
Mr LJ does same trick with duvet - he actually rolls himself up in it and I'm smaller than him and don't have the strength to pull it out from under him
suggest a separate single duvet for you (don't laugh, I've had to resort to this from time to time!!). you don't need it all the time, just keep it somewhere handy to haul over you when he hauls the duvet off you!
just rechecked webby for the 4k race I did a couple of weeks back, they've now posted results by age category
I finished 75th out of 120 in the female 18-29 group. :-) Sounds better than 392 out of the whole field of 626 ;-) Something to do with 75 being a 2 digit number I'm sure!!!!
I don't know. Here in Leuven they also fly over. I've never heard a thing. What is more disturbing is those stupid scooters/motorbikes.
When I visit my parents planes fly over very low. Never heard them. At my grandma's the same. So I think people that can't sleep because of planes, that most of the time psychological, because the cars in the street make more noice.
Busy day today - not sure how I'm going to fit it all in. Have to see the bank manager at 11, fit in some lunch before going to physio at 1, go to Swansea to meet old school friends who are down this way for a couple of days and get home in time to be in choir practice by 7 - and have the energy to yowl for 2 hours in the practice!!
Better eat porridge.
Sympathise over TS and the disappearing duvet. Mr Parddu's trick was to pinch the pillows and my head would hit the mattress with a thump and I'd wake up.
right, board papers have been reviewed, more changes for me to make first thing tomorrow, I'm now off to see Bridesmaid and her delicious 20 month old son, who will be Page Boy. Bless!
Just had to amend schedule for today - cancelled physio in order to take Ceri to the vet - he's a poorly little budgie and I can't work out why. He was giving himself a shower in the water pot and has emerged with very laboured breathing so something's not right. I wish he could have been like this yesterday morning as I could have taken him on the way to German as the vet is in Haverfordwest!
Don't think I'll get to see my friends either which is a shame but Ceri needs to be sorted out. Once budgies start looking poorly they're halfway downhill already.

g'day LJ
well done on the plod.
Always good to have some interesting trivia, I didn't know that about the guide-dogs
Can't hang around this a.m.
See you all later.
Puzzled by your second post Norma !

again no plodding for me, because of things to arrange for project. Hopefully by tonight, we will have a nice project.
sleep ok?
Kid B nicked my bath so I've come back here
day off for me so gallery
but just one little Q
anyone know who John Major and Edwina Currie are?

have a quilted bedspread thing for the same reason LJ
although last night it was not enough to warm me up
think tiredness/stress is making me unusually vulnerable to the cold cos I'm usually too hot in bed
(hopefully 7 other plodders have not just logged on and that will not be TOTP)
Kid B sounds like she has settled into the bath for the morning
good luck with the project - you haven't had an easy time of it :-(
Flr, crumbs, first TS nicks duvet then Kid B nicks bath, you're not having a good day are you?
I'm one of the lucky 6 out of 10 people in Belgium that sleeps well.
or too much indigestion from all those chocs?
(flr scampers off the thread leaving no racial stereotype unturned)

the two runners in the 70+ group did the 4km in 20 mins and 22 mins respectively
better go and sort out these lunchboxes

off to meet collegue. I hope we find some project. Will be back for a shorting lunch break.
toothpastey snogs with a hint of coffee this morning ;0)
still a slight niggle in my ankle - but more ice etc should keep me ok

Night all Plodders :-)

(hard stares to Mr Parddu on his cloud for pillow nicking trick)
bison has a different duvet trick - he pushes all the quilt onto me, so I wake up too hot and we fight over who has to have it.....

hope he's ok
off to w*k so see you all later
