can finally move without screaming today which is a bonus. no time to plod today though, so am going for another rest day and then some nice mall plod tomorrow - yippee!
Morning all. Today's the rest day, so although I'm only 2-odd weeks into my running and I woke up and realised I actually *want* to run... but am not allowed to.
LJ - By another Aussie here, do you mean me? I'm definitely Strine, but live in England (Caversham, well... Emmer Green). I think there's at least one other Reading area person here?
flr - Yup, I know who John Major and Edwina Currie are.
Back from bank - too early for proper lunch so had coffee and cake in Marks. Ceri seems to have perked up a bit but breathing still not too good so we're off to the vet now.

does that make me young?
come on chaps, I'm a busy girl on a deadline.
<checks to see if deadline is a moveable feast - darn, no such luck>
john mayor hasn't he got something to do with politics (some time ago). I know a currie, but she died of radiation.
John Major was Prime Minister following the resignation off Th*tcher (pause to wash out mouth with soap and water)
he was considered somewhat dim and very, very boring
Edwina Currie was another Minister who was considered very tough and feisty
curiously John's reputation went up considerably a couple of years ago when Edwina revealed in her autobiography that they had been at it like rabbits
serious history lesson of the day ovwer
so I wasn't wrong about john
didn't about the rabbits
Glad to hear you're recovering from Sunday's fantastic efforts Puff )
No plodding for me for a few days as hip back to its horrible self again
had my MRI scan yesterday
ugh! was awful
if I wasn't claustraphobic (sp?) before I went in then I am now!
aww poor Ceri, hope he's ok
sending budgie healing vibes westwards
<falls over>
you seem to fall over quite often
Hiya Sam )
{Listens for a heart beat....}
I only fall over when I cross everything, or someone causes me to <thud>
ow, I shouldn't've demonstrated that
Ceri - don't peck the vet's fingers , he's trying to make you better
Puff - "John Major won the leadership contest when I was doing my GCSE's"? Just how young are you?????
