Part timer indeed, although here pretty much all day today.
I'm sort of all set for the MK 1/2. I've hardly done bugger all training so will be happy to get round in a respectable time without keeling over. Think I'll view it more as a training run, and it'll be good to meet JB and Laura at some point.
hallo!! im excited about sunday!! though not as much as i was about le T...but at least I won't get back at 6am, ha!!(although the scenery wont be as good...)
I reckon we should meet at the main reception of the school at 9am? This gives us an hour until the start to "limber up", especially bearing in mind our threesome. I presume we will need to ensure our maximum flexibility!!
cooper you seem like youre "au fait" with menages a trois?!!
jelly yes i am raring to go...dont have frankee to beat this time, but i have been "committed" the last few weeks so hope I'll be OK (!!)
9am? i'll have to see what time my lift is going and see you there. that means i cant go clubbing on saturday night!! (i could but i dont think id run very well...)
There's a 6-a-side cricket tournament going on at New Malden CC on the 4th Sept. . Coop's club is playing in it and it's not far from where i live, so we're making a day of it with a 1/2 marathon in the morning and a drinking marathon in the afternoon
How do. Must admit Guy, I'm far more looking forward to the drinking marathon! I fancy my chances of getting a PB in that!! As for the other.....uh oh!
Frankee, you've gotta start walking the walk mate.....this 90 minute barrier has been more talked about than Roger Bannister's 4 min mile....!!
So far I've come with 30 secs, but I'm back in a proper regime again (and feeling the benefit). Just picking my race... almost signed up for MK the other day. Unfortunately it'd mean missing a rather special birthday celebration.
Anyway, I couldn't run MK if you're not on form....
I'm always on form, I just don't like to talk about it too much. I have also got back into training so watch out Mr!! anyway, i like to think we run together and we help each other. you dont count if you beat me, as i said youre not a girl (last time i saw you!)
Laura, does that mean you're expecting me to beat you? My only chance is if you do go clubbing, then go straight to the race from the kebab shop, and then run in your white stiletto's........!
ooh ooh i'll bring my white stilettos for after the race and you can try them on!
and no im nto going clubbing, ive done that far too many times...i did st albans a few weeks ago having gone to bed at 4 and drunk copius amounts and then my parents came to watch me...still did 1.36 (god knows how...) but ended up feeling quite ill the rest of the day...

Am good thanks (although still pretty bored). How's about yourself. All set for MK 1/2 at the weekend?
