Oh, that's sad.....will it be too difficult to stay friends, or is it a clean break in all respects? You've invested a lot of time in the relationship, so do give yourself time to grieve.

no...we are staying friends. we were friends before the relationship and we have too much together to not be friends, might take a while though. We co own a cat and he is awesome, we have so many friends together too. Just want it to go back to when it was good and we were happy as a couple. But I need my friend more. And there we go...floodgates again
You just let it all out - it's allowed, you know! I'm glad you're staying friends. They are much harder to come by than boyfriends/girlfriends, I have always thought, so when you find a good one, you hang on to them.
I should eat something...and have a shower. Too bloody tired and sad to think about eating. What I'd like to do is sleep...sleep for a very long time until things stop hurting. But seeing as that isn't an option, I'll make the bed. And try to remember the soup recipe for tonight.

I made a lovely soup yesterday (no modesty, me!) - butterbean, bacon and leek. It was vair yummy. Today's soup is lentil and carrot, with a hint of cumin and chilli.
tonights is known as veggie chicken soup...as in it makes you feel better. The irony is that my ex (ugh...hate saying that) made it for me when I was ill...and it's all I ever want if I'm feeling low and sad and miserable. I need to get bread though. Although I might just make some instead.

Spicy lentil and carrot soup
Slow-roasted garlic and lemon chicken with potatoes and parsnips
Maybe some chilled SB to go with that?

Torch is starting off from about half a mile up the road tomorrow so I think I will get up at silly o'clock and go and see it again.

morning all...bit of a sore head this morning...the final cocktail last night maybe wasn't such a good idea. I'm making bacon and egg bagels in a min, anyone want one? With tea *adds more cups to the table*
