I'm having a what to wear dilemma (typical woman). I was going to wear my running t-shirt with my jacket over the top if it was cold but what to do with my number.
If I pin it on my tshirt I have to wear my jacket open (yuk) if I pin it on my jacket and I get hot I can't take my jacket off. (without unpinning and repinning) I could not wear my jacket but I think I'll be cold.
JJJ, im wearing my jacket with the number pinned to the front, Ive trained like that all winter so im sure ill be fine tomorrow, I cant imagine it being that warm!
Just wear what you have been wearing in training.
Im lucky if I get too warm in my jacket I can unzip the arms and leave the top as a gilet.
JJJ - Yes ill be hanging around somewhere near there but I dont intend running with them ill be doing 1 mile run 1 min walk so a different set up for me.
Ill be meeting up with the rest of the Scouse crew at their designated meeting place at some roundabout near the start though...will you be there?
jjj- you could try pinning it to one side of the zip - that's what I've done in the past, but I guess you're probably not quite as wide as I am. With it being chip timed, its not so important they can see your number properly anyway.
Can't wait to get started tomorrow, at least then you know you can't do anything or change anything.
Weather looks like it'll be ok, not too windy is the main thing for me.
May be at the roundabout if I can find it, otherwise good luck to all.
unfortunately i`m on the wagon again ,haven`t had a drink since 23rd Jan and not allowed to fall of again tilend of May so there`ll be nooooo drinking for me.Might pop me head in to say hello
Back home now with an unofficial time of 1:52:00, which betters last years time by 19 seconds.Very satisfied with that considering training hasn't bee going so well. Really felt Parly street this year and the slight hill in the Park at about 11 miles almost finished me off.
did it, but disappointed. got stuck in toilet queue, so missed start. began right at the back, going thru start with 5 mins on clock. got held up all the way to about 5 miles, weaving in and out, to get through. ended up with 1:38:30 or thereabouts. no excuses, just a bad day. hope everyone else fared a bit better

May be near the red cross stand before the beginning as per Mr H's comments earlier.

You may need to try your race number as well as your surname.
