I am watching a health programme ( one of those where they pile up what someone eats in a week ), and they showed how much beer this guy got through in a year, based on the 12 cans a week he said he drunk.

It was scary.

Less than 2 a night... cripes thats nothing!... I used to average 3 pints of Guinness a lunchtime and then half a dozen more at least three evenings a week

That`s what I thought ( although he was getting a row for drinking too much ) but when you saw it all stacked up, it was a massive amount.

Made me wonder what all my wine bottles and Mr H`s cans would look like if we did that . EEK !

You know Mr ST is a very lucky man if you ask me and I take my hat off to him. Not only does he have you for his own but he's managed to avoid the temptations of the demon drink at the same time..

My commuting goal is to get on my bliddy bike but irritated one of knees in the gym so might leave that for another day or two

I would cycle to work but the small matter of a 1 in 7 uphill gradient kind of puts me off.

Not a natural cyclist, I guess.

My work is 45 miles each way, including a bliddy great bridge across the Severn. That's my excuse for driving/getting the train!
