Bruno - OK, I'm off out right now, but 8:08 will be fine - its only 5 minutes drive to the car park at the start - I'll catch up with you when I get back, around 8:30 this evening
Well done to all involved organisers ,marshalls and the many locals who supported this race very well ,enjoyed it and will be back and an excellent goodie bag at the end .Many kids also supporting where I managed to splash with the sponge which they seemed to enjoy .Course very good as well and plenty of room for runners.
It was good to have the air ambulance briefly hovering overhead as they said "this is what the race pays for". A nice touch but since they said each sortie costs 2 grand I hope he didn't take off specially for us
Many thanks as ever to the marshalls and kids helping out on the route, and to Mr Vaal and his team for yet another exemplary showing!
Hi Chris - I was number 1333. Watch time was 1:43:55 so chip time will be v close to that. For gun time I'd estimate add 30 seconds.
I'm certain I copped the mats at start and finish.
Edit, adding: There's little danger of me ever troubling the leading pack overall or in my age category so being in the official results is not a game-changer but it is a nice-to-have
Hi Chris, could I just ask why you lump all the vets together rather than having separate prize categories for V50 and V60 like most races do? Just curious as us oldies can't easily compete with te 40 year old "vets"! Great race by the way and the organisation was brilliant. Congrats to you and your team.
Thanks to the organisers for the event yesterday, the atmosphere was great and I loved the final mile - it was tough going getting to the start line from London at 9am though!
My time wasn't particularly good (my fault) - really do need to go to the toilet more often on race days...I'll be there next year fo' sure
Tunbridge Wells has a couple of interesting hills!
First time at this event and I thought it was great! Really nice starting venue (weather helped), lovely course and the marshals were abslutely brilliant. A great morning out for me as I was pacing a friend rather than racing so pre race nerves wern't there.

Jeez! That was a tough one. Miles 5 through to 9 especially! Saying that, really enjoyed it though.
Glad I didn't need my wellies! Perfect day for a run, an enjoyable event.
Good marshall support again , a good medal (I'm sure Muttley would approve) and I like the towel - thanks Mr Vaal and team.

Well done all
Excellent race, as always. But I'm not in the results!
Could this be because my race pack didn't arrive and I was given a new number on the day?
My 5th outing at the Bracknell Half - lovely running conditions taday but by crikey I found it tough this year!
Wonderful marshalling as ever, and great support all the way round.

Another superbly organised and supported event. Fantastic. Well done to all involved.
Good to see so many out for my home event (Bracknell Forest Runners). Course was tough today with that sunshine. Dragged myself round into 12th place.
Lovely race and i managed to do a PB, for near 2min.
Are the results already available? Where?
And today i met the user- chilles for breakfast, 5* for him. Thanks again mate
Bruno - glad I could help

Oh and the hill....sweet jesus!!!
That wasn't a hill, it was just a speed bump.
Ever done the Henley Half? Now that's what I call a hill.
