Cake - They take the safe middle ground option with semi-skimmed. With the amount of milk the office gets through you'd think they might throw in the odd full fat or skinny pint, but I'd be on the semi-skimmed anyway. Skimmed is OK in tea, not so great in coffee, and positively looks like water on cereal.
One advantage of the new supplier - it all comes in 1 pint cartons rather than 2 pints, so when I *borrow* some at the end of the day it's easier to carry home.
Is anyone else having trouble with Facebook? I can't post anything, and none of the account reset options are working. I'm really hoping it's them not me.
Ta Bookie. It's fixed now Not chuffed about having done a system restore and spent half an hour trying to re-set my password on my day off. I thought my account had been locked.
Thanks Hash. *waves* I have popped in here before, from memory to discuss which way round I should put my broken coaster on the desk since it lost a layer. I've since worked out that one side is less likely to stick to the mug when its base is wet, so that was that quandary sorted!
Full fat milk is fine but I like semi in tea. I find full fat just a bit too creamy for my taste, although where we used to live the farm milk was the best milk I've ever had. Nothing has come even close. Rachel's milk is good and their butter is excellent.
FB won't let me do anything still, so sod em.
I have bought bin liners. I've also recklessly bought some wool.
Pre-Cake days I was a skimmed milk kinda gal. I've never bought whole milk, and have managed to get Cake on to 1% milk. Hence the distress at the whole milk tea. It must not be so.
My bins are safely back where they belong, the garden waste one was overflowing and very heavy but they still emptied it to my amazement.
There is a mystery local (well I presume its local) cat that has started leaving presents on the neighbours door step and today the middle of our drive had a present. All cleared up and I have finished taking down the runner bean plants and sorted out the big seedy beans for drying out.
Milk update. Teething problems with new supplier, no milk when I came in this morning. Popped in to Waitrose and they're knocking out pints of semi- for 19p!
The weather can't decide what it is going to do today, apart from be very grey and blustery. It looked like it was going to pee down just now but it's 'brightened' up a bit. (just dull grey as opposed to black grey).
SOLB, you sound happy, I like this, even though we don't know each other very well
We have whole milk at work. I like it, but pretend I don't. Liking whole milk is apparently not the done thing.
I don't feel very well, but not specifically enough to make a fuss about it, stop doing anything or indeed really acknowledge it. Just low-level general 'meh'-ness.
This is very exciting I can try to correct my spellings again and fail.
GFB World war Z is a good film on the whole it's nowhere near the book it's off through which is excellent and should be turned into a TV series or something.
I watched a couple of interesting films recently. Dark City and A Field in England. Dark City, I feel, may have been the inspiration behind The Matrix. Lots of similarities going on. A Field in England was a bit different and I'm still trying to figure out whether it was all about death and purgatory or was it all just a weird hippy mushroom trip...? I may never know.
I should be going running tonight, I just don't know which club to go running with. My old club will entail a 30 mile cycle ride which wont be fun in the rain but I really should go.
I want to go running My foot has been out of order for 12 weeks now, and there's no sign of improvement. To be fair, I've not properly rested it, but still. Poo.

Hi Phil and welcome
Facebook is indeed broken.
I had whole milk in tea the other day. I was distressed by how much I liked it.

On the plus side if you've got a present on your drive then it means you're in the clear as being the suspected owner of the feline donor.

Hello all and hi to PhilPub.
I haven't done my home work. Nawty me.
I should be going running tonight, I just don't know which club to go running with. My old club will entail a 30 mile cycle ride which wont be fun in the rain but I really should go.
What homework do you have Mouse?
