Lets try having a happy thread... I know.... it won't last
What have you seen recently or done that has brought a smile to your face?
My example. I fell over when running yesterday, there was a really nice man, English was not his first language, but he came over helped me up and was offering to ring for help for me. It's nice that good people are still out there

Was there a big international field seren? we could do like the USA and have an all British event and call it the World Series.
booktrunk- I would say tiddlywinks is less of a sport than triathlon or athletics but more so than darts or snooker so maybe a bit of a smile for that
It is in my office.
I got my PPI payout!!!!
Also, I went to ASDA last night to do a bit of a shop and someone had left a pound coin in the trolley, meaning I didn't have to fish around for one. So, I took said trolley and did my shopping, then I replaced the trolley without taking the pound. Thought it would cheer someone else up, as it had done for me!
I know.........I'm easily pleased!
Oh and this...

My lunch - scrambled eggs on toast, a bag of plain crisps and a cup of tea. Perfect.
I know of some crazy fools who set up a sports sociity at uni for this brilliant sport with meeting's in bar one and everything so they could claim the NUS grant and use it for incidental's i.e. the bar. Was shocking, truely shocking what was even worse was one of them went to uni but could not spell.
Well, I'm reading some PG Wodehouse at the moment and it makes me laugh out loud. Not much does that.
Yesterday, my missus and I went to Guildford for a meal and realised neither of us had any money for the car park. A lady in the car next to us overheard and offered to pay for our car parking.
Today, my motorbike broke down. None of it was too bad. Had a pizza whilst I waited, got out of taking my wife to the dentist, etc The breakdown guy was able to sort the bike quickly and we had a nice chat about motorbikes and cycling.
Ah, maybe life ain't so bad. I'll put off the suicide plan for another day.

I now have a treatment plan and got a chance to turn a good friend into a great friend
I gave someone hope
I delivered some staff development at another college and got a spontaneous round of applause because it was 'so interesting and entertaining'
