Bob, the feed station we are on is on an open road, parts of the bike course are on partially closed roads but there are not too many cars around on Sunday morning, except the odd wanker that doesn't like cyclists
And a moaning old woman riding her horse and cart up and down the road.
I don't think Meldy is coming this year....
You better hide mate.
We had a psycho tractor driver last year
Hi Barley/Schmunkee - just a quick note to let you know that I was contacted by OSB today regarding some other stuff. Whilst writing they mentioned that they'd not received the info from you yet and could I please give you a nudge? Possibly the earlier mail Schmunkee sent has got lost in the ether?
Mr Foot, you may soon qualify for the one legged race
Looks like they're weed trimming already in the lake:

Mouse, they have got the info now thanks, seems that some emails were not being received there.
All, please keep an eye on this page over the next 10 days. Next weekend we will update a little more detail re arrangements for the race weekend.
Thanks again for everyones support, im really looking forward to it. Should be a great day
Just as long as the jock strap is firmly in place!!
Don't want to get broom splinters
- oh yes...please make sure that's the case.......
Calling all 'free' swimmers - there will be an email coming to you later today with the link for your free entry. Please can you enter your chosen swim before close of play on 15th (this Wednesday). Cheers
All emails have been sent. If you don't get it, please let me know asap as OSB would like this done and dusted by the end of Wednesday. Cheers.
Also, sorry to say I can no longer accept any more late entries for the swim
email received and 2.5k swim entry done Thanks Schmunks
Fashion update:
OSB will provide volunteer t-shirts (also high viz). The feedstation will have better impact if we're all in pirate attire. Generally this is the case but for those who havnt been to the feedstation in previous years, please wear your finest pirate regalia.
I have 4x pirate large flags and signs.
If anyone is bored and fancies making some pirate bunting or similar (you know you want to). We had some great bunting a few years ago, think it was Squishy that made it?
Is there time for a Pirate Feedstation Kit Order???
Please don't ask Flat Footed to wear his 'regalia', we saw enough of that last time
They've had a whip round and I'm wearing it to your 60th next month missy
#deadmanmincing
Free swimmers - please make sure you have entered your chosen distance by midnight tonight. If you haven't received the link via the email I sent you on Monday, please let me know and I'll re-send it
Found this in OSB's FB just now
"Here's one for all of the volunteers, hopefully it'll be a lovely day, but if not we'll keep you warm with a lovely hot drink 'we couldn't do it without you'
Its nearly time
Getting quite excited
Not sure if I'll be there Fri night late or Sat yet - the swim is in the afternoon isn't it?
