Only two medals so far one each for the Bristol and Forest of Dean 10K. I like the Bristol medal but prefer the FOD tee shirt as it's black! I would one day love to have a hallway of medals and raceshirts or something similar.
Lisa E: I will be doing the Women's Running 10K at the end of June and the Bristol HM in September so I will at least have two more soon! Work in progress
D33 Ultra Marathon 2012 is probably my favourite. It's a cheap wooden thing but looks cool.
It was an epic journey from the start of that course to the end for me because I was so woefully undertrained. I had only ran about 13 miles max. in "training" and unsurprisingly, my legs were knackered by about 13 miles on the day. 20 miles of torture later and I got that medal round my neck. I won't ever forget how painful that experience was...
It was the start of a silly fundraising effort which saw me run 100 miles over 4 events in 2012 to raise funds for a local charity. I'd love to go back to early 2011 and actually train for those events, but it was more of a "challenge" without the training.
Never again will I pitch up on a start line under-prepared.
(that isn't my personal medal, but mine looks exactly like that)
I don't really have a favourite medal, I have loads on the bookshelf but for the only race I have ever won they didn't give medals out. A bit gutted at that.
Giants Head Marathon, you could beat someone to death with it plus it has a C**k and b***s on it Not saying I like that kind of thing but its pretty cool
Baltimore marathon. If you know you know. It's in the shape of a crab that then opens. It's great. As is the one from the marine corps marathon in DC. (used to live in the states)

Loving seeing all your medals and trophies everyone, keep the stories and pictures coming!
As with lots of others my first marathon.
Just because no-one I knew thought that I could do it, and I just felt so good crossing the line.

Calum that's cool, its so different! Its got its own story by the look of it as well as your own personal one to get it!
Calum - that is by far the best I have seen! I love the simplicity of it!
Calum: Great medal.
I want a wooden medal! Great effort Calum, well earned!
Oh no that's a shame Millsy1977. You know you won though!
La Rochelle 2005 - It weighs a ton (mild exaggeration!!!) and it was my first sub 3 marathon. I had it engraved especially
Anyone got any new ones?
I got one from Race to the Stones, pretty nice but not my favourate
Great south run 2003 first ever run
Gosport half 2009 first half
Gurkha trail walker 2012 not a run but still 62 miles
Mersey Tunnel 10k in 2011 - my first ever run.
Not a bad looking medal too.

omg, imagine if those two things were combined into one amazing medal with a flashing cock and balls.
Its for the 'Aldershot Road Relays'
The best result my club has ever had in the event.
🙂
Hard to pick just one but I'll have to go for my Tring to Town 40 mile run because it's the only ultra I've ever done or will be able to do.
i have 2 the Longleat 10k when i ran my first ever sub 50 minute and this yeas Brighton marathon medal when i finally broke the sub 4hr barrier
Found an old Glasgow Great Scottish 10k Medal recently, forgot I had it !
Ooh - sooo many. Recently the Giants Head marathon has taken it's pride of place on my medal wall. I can't find a picture of it though
This was for rhythm and run in Antwerp. A cool medal but a little tiny
Also all of the Enigma 'spinning' medals are pretty fantastic too! I like a nice bit of bling!
ooo that ones pretty cool!
