That goes you you too XFR, Proxy Bear, or whatever you're calling yourself today.
Mine's 45399 for anyone who wants to know but doesn't. If you don't want to know you can always cover that bit with Tippex (with your eyes wide shut of course:-)). dub
At least I was moving. As much as I believe in those words, they sure come across as trite. I walked out and the temp felt great. I started running. Halfway into my second mile, I wanted to quit. Ran down my checklist - breathing, chest, heart, legs, etc., and physically, all systems were go. Mentally, I did not want to run. I finished since I had to eventually come home, but it was a struggle. I dislike days like today.
Walkman - Thanks for the number. I will follow your progress. Good luck with FLM! Run strongly and steadily!
Jj - Your pounce sure is sleek. I think the sprinting is a benefit.
Afternoon peeps. My, it's been slow on the thread today. I think and hope that all the runners who are going to want supporting have now come out of the woodwork. JJ - I've added Walkman to our list as I'd stupidly not got him down.
Redhead Tippex on the keyboard comes off quite easily. Just swab it with a bit of benzine (cigarette lighter fuel) on a soft cloth and gently set light to it. It'll burn off quite successfully. You'll probably want asbestos gloves and welder's mask but everything should be OK. If you do it outside on the patio that is.
The keyboard may not work quite the same afterwards but you'll have no more trouble with the Tippex.
NB Try putting it on the screen next time. Happy to help dub
afternoon peeps, back after trip oop north, very busy but relaxing and good to see friends and family again. managed two runs and a very vigorous game of badminton so dont feel too unfit! hope all are well and those who are running on sunday, run well or walk well (for rabbit!) see you there!!
cara - JJ will be the peep with 9 foot legs. Phew...just done another batch of matching runners to supporters. Would it be easier to run the damn race??

Walkman, having followed your advice re Tippex, I now have the stuff all over my keyboard because I couldn't see what I was doing.
Happy running.

Have a great weekend! Have fun!
Jimbo - that's just the Toxic Ten minutes for you. I hate the first bit of any plod.
Makes me feel like an elephant.

Meer - Your organisational skills are top-notch. I am sure that everyone will be pleased.
Helen - Is your chair packed? Remember hat, sunscreen, and refreshments. It may get tiring, working the aid station.
You ladies are great.

Hope you'll have a stretcher to hand. If not you can probably borrow a rack from the London Dungeon.
