Morning all, Stags wash your mouth out better than the smits indeed!! Tut tut!!!
Been to gym this morning took it easy cos I have spin class at lunch time and badminton this evening...........then sleeping I hope. Though I have been struggling. Also how come Cardiff seems to be missing out on the rain???
It's grim here. Gordon was not happy to be trotting around the park this morning and insisted we go home after just one lap. And this after waking us up at 1am whinning because he wanted some company. He's never done that before so I am a little worried about him. Maybe he's nervous about his trip to the vet tomorrow to have his toothy pegs cleaned.
Didn't manage to plod home last night due to a combination of rain and tummy cramps. Went out and ate too much with pregnant friend instead. Still, it's the track tonight so my legs could probably do with the rest.
ops, forgot to say am supposed to be plodding tonight but at this rate i might be swimming round the town instead. We are geting localoised flooding round here
It was Miserables flower of choice too Stags. There was some significance to his choice of flower but I was always too bored to remember what it was. Thoguh I have to say, the best (indeed brilliant) thing about the Smiths was Johnny Marr's guitar.
Morning all! Also clueless about the title. Guess I can't pretend to be too young can I!
Momentous yoga-type achievement yesterday - I touched my toes for the first time in about 15 years!!! Can't believe I'm so excited about that!
Horrible sleep last night - don't know whether it was the weather or the work I was failing not to think about - guess I could shut my door and catch a few zeds now - sure no one would notice.
Keeps blarting down here, and I'm in a grumpy mood. Had an extremely snotty day yesterday, thought I was coming down with a cold. Took extra echidnas yesterday and today and feel a lot better snotwise, so I'm just waiting to pluck up the courage to step out of the door and plod my grumpy mood away. Only 4 miles or so today as I'm racing tomorrow evening.
Am taking my HRM out today to see what kind of rate I have on an average plod. Tried to do max HR test on Sat but think I must have had interference from somewhere as I managed 229??!! If I feel good today I'll put a couple of sprints or hills in and see what figure I come up with then.
Also grumpy because internet is broken on normal ISP and am having to actually pay for this call. Grump. TTFN.
oh, oh, oh forgot to mention. My "Marathon Running for Mortals" book arrived from Amazon yesterday. Also a book on greyhounds and the Keane and Joss Stone CDs.

Nope, I've no idea about the song title! But I'm culturally clueless!

later peeps xx
I've rarely heard of any of the bands featured on the plodding titles - never had an interest in popular "music".
I hope it's less hot and humid for my 5K tonight. It's along the sea front so maybe there'll be a breeze off the water.
morning all btw
bit soggy here today
have fun in Blackpool Joby :0)
