sorry no advice, although from a selfish point of view, you really don't want a killer cold just before Windsor. but if she doesn't plod, she won't understand that.
Morning. I too managed to get out there when I really didn't want to last night - it was Very Windy. Did a slowish 5.61 miles with Long Sleeves & Gloves. Brrr for 1st mile, phew, sweat, drip for the last 4.61 miles. First overdressing incident of the year.
Norma, you recovered from Sunday yet?
flr, take super-strength echidnas and get out there.
Off now to w**k, will probably drop in whilst eating my brekky at my desk.
I've been finding the last couple of weeks I've been overdressed wearing long running trousers and long sleeved running tee-shirt. This morning was shorts and tee-shirt and that was better. Mind you, its only 2nd week of spring, I might find the summer is a bit warm (I wasn't plodding when I was last living here for a summer).
actually she rang up to give me the chance to blow her out, so she does have some idea about the plodding thing
I feel guilty Q - cos I did a similar thing yesterday and meant to post for you that long sleeves and gloves were too much - but I forgot cos my blinking head hurt so much
I think flr's headache has moved west. I'd better go and look for the painkillers.
The man from British Gas is coming to check the central heating betwen 1 and 5 and I had thought of going for a swim at 12. I think I'll just see how I feel at 11.30.
lol Staggs - you know what I mean!!! (oh, actually do you know what I mean, maybe thats an Australian thing? I get my countries blurred now, and can't remember where I've seen things and which countries they belong in!! Anyway just in case you really don't know what I mean, odourless garlic and horseradish are sold as a health supplement here, specifically for preventation of colds and flu. an alternative to zinc and vit C and echinacea)
anyway, my Wednesday is finally over, yes more than half way through the week now!!
Had a carp night bad news about one of my best buddies.........and not helped by telling Mr Peas I am going upstairs to read for a while to unwind before I go to sleep, and then having him follow me upstairs with a list and proceed to ask me questions................grrrrrrrrrrr.
I can't hear myself think this morning, as they're installing new lifts in my block and are currently drilling and hammering holes in the wall to install the controls
I've got a cold. It started yesterday. Took Night Nurse last night, which usually knocks me out but had a carp nights sleep. Am knackered today and feel very weak. No plodding for me than. Which is pants when you consider that it's only 7 weeks to NY (in fact it is probably less than that).
Also had row with bruv last night as he STILL hasn't sent off for his passport. And had carp news about a friend and loads of other stuff I with which I will not bore you.
(((plodders))) we're not doing very well today, are we?
Have had toast & melon but am still hungry. Thinking bad thoughts about bacon sandwiches. But will settle for nectarine. Excuse me if I get juice on the keyboard.
anyone got any tips for good quality wimmen's literarture for me to read - have been told to aim for Maggie O Farrell style with my novel - and can't find my copy of her first book?

(yawn!)
(Yaaaaaaaawn, stretch)
Feeling tired but pleased with myself for not being puit off by the rain last night.
Three and a half miles in steady rain which became a downpour with three quarters of a mile to go :0)
No doubt a day at w*** will wipe the smile from my face :0(
puit = put
obviously,
told you I was tired
I think you can well afford to feel smug!
headache not bad but shoulder ache and ankle ache there
am meant to be seeing Best Friend who has a killer cold
do I blow her (stoppit) out or do I just take some echinacea and get on with it?
meant to be seeing PT too - which sounds lethal but she's usually quite good with stretches and stuff for my postural problems
