CdK I think I have been over doing the mileage with training myself and my ladies (and I get a bit competitive dont want them beating me!!) Now I am paying the price. Its not too bad and once I am warmed up it is ok. Just a bit tender that is all. I am hping some extra stretching and massage will do the trick!
Well I am taking £25 for my massage not expecting to buy any kit so nothing for that and as I dont drink much £20 per night should more than cover it Not that I have been before but that is what I am preparing for unless someone suggests different
You are right - you don't need a great deal of money. The massage peeps will take a cheque I believe.
Don't forget your snack bars - you will be grateful for them in between meals. Also, if you like ham sandwiches make the most of them before you go 'cos you may never be able to face ham again!!!!
Keep massaging that hamstring Rio - and get yourself a frontline monitor (or recruit a lovely assistant), that way you won't have to work so hard every session. Your ladies need you to be there, but not necessarily at the front everytime ;0)))
I know CdK, but I cant help it its not that I want to do it but some evil little person inside me..... I have no control. But I have got a whistle now so I can let them all know when the minute or whatever is up!! Keeping on with the tigerbalm massages. But my hamstring does seem to get easier when I keep moving. So I think I am going to have to stand up all day instead of sitting on my butt!!
No Rio - you misunderstand - or it is the way I put it likely as not!
It's not the bread, it's the ham. We will get a talk on nutrition and a chance to taste the delights of Brussel Sprout juice. She will then graphically describe what happens to a slice of ham from the time it leaves the pigs backside to when it gets onto the shelf at Tesco (or any supermarket - don't want Tesco sueing me!).
Something else to look forward to!
Poddles - just for you, did you see the report a couple of years back about the number of spider legs you are likely to find in a Mars bar if you look hard enough??? eeeeeeuuuuuuggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!
RB - I was terrified arriving last year but at least I'd met Meldy once before so knew her face...
So I just went over to her (which was a VERY brave thing to do) and started chatting and then after about 5 mins she said "oh btw these are CdK and Beanz" and they'd been sitting there sussing me out!!
Oh and Fifi came in and said "Who's X X?apparently I'm sharing with her" and I was almost too scared too admit it was me (even though Fifi was lovely to share with!)...
So I guess what I'm saying is fear not - the worse bit is walking in but as people arrive over a period of hours it's never a grand entrance so to speak )
Im sure id recognise Beanz and XB from their photos but I reckon pretty much everyone else will be a complete mystery.
Thing is I have never done anything like this before (Go away with a load of people ive never met) so I am being very brave anyway....Saying that I am really looking forward to it and cant wait.
Everyone in work thinks im mad for wanting to go away running for the weekend, I may have omitted details about the mad social we will also be having..tee hee!

XB - wasn't Mr Yumms supposed to be going too?
be assured that you will get good hamstring advice at Trailplus, and even if you can't run, it's a worthwhile jaunt.
Hope you're feeling better today!
((((EP)))) poor you xx
Im just wondering what a reasonable amount of cash would be???
I presume the only cash we need is beer tokens, im not planning on buying any kit

unless you all want to buy me a drink then you had better take out a second mortgage!!
