Getting back into the groove after the London Marathon and need to set some new goals to keep motivated! This one sounds pretty good and looking to do a good time (sub 60).
Hi there Nemo and of course the lovely Sezz - look forward to seeing you at the Dysart Dash. Don't think i'll be able to run this year, what with the ongoing injury problems and all, but will be there to cheer you along! )
Hello again Guy W, nice to hear from you. Sorry you're still injured, hope it sorts itself out soon. If you're not able to run I'll expect a loud cheer!
There are a few car parks along by the river I think and one in Richmond park if you don't mind a bit of a walk. It's not too much of a busy area so you should be able to find somewhere to park the saucer - or even those cars and bikes that humans seem to like.
Had an unexpectedly good 5K run on Sunday. So good in fact I'm starting to wonder if the course was short! My PB has been slashed from 32:55 to 28:16 so I'm sure sub-60 is possible. Just need good weather and a following wind...
I will be trying a new speed session this week. I'm aiming to run 6 x 400m repeats with 2 min jog intervals on the treadmill. V. technical - hope I don't fall off!
I'm definately coming along to this but can't decide whether to run yet. My running is really suffering this year, not sure why, and it's affecting my confidence, which in turn is affecting my running, affecting my confidence etc etc.
Tried running into work this morning to avoid the heat but it was still boiling even at 7am. Really hope it isn’t this hot for the race or I may have to dive into the canal. I’m so not a hot-weather runner!
Hope you feel better about your running soon, Sezz. Have a good race.

How's your training going? I've just managed a rather sweaty 40 mins this evening, haven't got used to this hot weather yet.
:-)
I shall be back for sub 55 this year.
:-)
PB is 41:01, but that was a long time and many pies ago!
now all I need to do is get my butt into gear and start training again... hmmm
Gr8 piccie Mash, shows your age though.
Aiming for 57 mins - hopefully
