I have all the first-aid kit we'll need, Pix. And you wouldn't let a broken leg come between you and that medal, would you? I mean, you didn't for FLM ;o)
ONE foil blanket in a rucksack during the night stages will be sufficient.
There should be no reason for Leon to have to carry any more between checkpoints than the rest of us are. We are ALL travelling as light as possible.
as long as it's after CP10 - you can roll the rest of the way! Just watch out for the feral bananas ;o)
I seem to recall that peeps said after TW03 that some sort of pole/stick would have bee useful when the rocks got slippy too. They don't take up much space anyway.
How fast? I'd got in my mind somwhere 15-18 hours.
I've only recently got into full climbing from scrambling. I want to progress it furher but someone needs to invent the 40-hour day first. Hoping to get some via ferata expeience while in the pyrenees.

sun, sea, surfing, glorious mountains with lots of walking and climbing, french food and wine, ...
or
walking a 100k in under 24 hrs?
Nah, it's alright. I'll take the pyrenees
If I'm not on hols I will be doing TW next year if I can find 3 other fast(ish) nutters.
vrap, do you climb too?
I'm not averse to a bit of scrambling but haven't done any serious rope-and-harness outdoor climbing. Yet!

If we can co-ordinate it, we thought we'd try & park up, run towards you then walk back a few miles with you. I'll have to look at the map!
I daresay there can be a few emergency rations for flagging walkers (and runners!) in the car
It'll be nice sunbathing weather. Suppose I will need to do a bit of training for the Windmiler the next week though!
