Oh they will be. At first, I was a little underwhelmed as they didn't feel the same as the Nike Mayfly, which I was used to. However, opinions have changed - they are a good lightweight trainer, which I use for a lot of my faster paced training.
A little more supportive and cushioned than the mayfly, but not so much so that you don't get the 'feel' of a racing shoe.
Did anyone else ever manage to get the vibram five fingers I did havent ran far in them yet getting used to them just walking for now but the short grass run i did they felt fine.
bought some fivefingers about 3wks ago from blacks reduced to 30 quid, been wearing them round the house mainly, so feet can get used to them (the inbetween the toes experience) though I did run down to my mum and dads in them (about 500m) and found them very good.
must admit they do look bizare but then so do my vivo's especially the ones with the zips round the soles. Lengths I'll go to for the barefoot experience!
I've posted in two other threads, so may as well make it a hatrick... but has anyone wore Nike Voporfly's for longer than a 1/2 Marathon... I've bought a pair, and want to use them for New York in 6 weeks... ran a 10k in them in the week... felt okay, and going to use them for Cardiff Half in 3.5 weeks time... however, anyone wore them for a Marathon? Should I?
